Becoming a member of a fire department is one of the most demanding yet rewarding ways to serve your community. It pushes you to grow while making a real difference in the lives of others.

From structural firefighting to medical emergencies, disaster can happen anytime, anywhere, and often in challenging conditions. The rewards are life changing—whether it’s saving someone's house from a fire, welcoming a new life, or being compassionate with patients in all situations.

While firefighting and EMS might not be for everyone, there’s a role for everyone in our department. Beyond emergency response, volunteers take on tasks like administrative work, truck maintenance, and station upkeep. Our team includes people from all walks of life, each contributing their unique skills.

Joining a fire department is a big decision. We encourage you to consider joining our ranks. If you have any questions, we’re here to help.

Per-Diem

From structural fires & hazardous spills to medical crises at any time of day or night. The sense of accomplishment that comes from saving lives and protecting property is invaluable.

As a Per-Diem member, you’ll be responsible for daily truck checks, station maintenance, training, and being on-site for emergency calls. Shifts are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the week, and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekend nights (Fri-Sun). Compensation is based on your certifications, with a minimum requirement of NREMT and a preference for prior Fire/EMS experience.

This role offers a unique opportunity to grow and serve. If you’re ready to meet the challenge, we encourage you to join our team.
